Pencil This In: Miss Spoken— College Years At Gallery Cabaret

2014_9_24PTI2.jpg Since its debut in May, we've been pretty smitten with the Miss Spoken live lit show, a relaxed evening of female story telling and performance centered around a different theme each month. From frank discussion on boobs (every girl has a boob story) to introspective thoughts on debt, the range of readers bring a different angle to the topic of choice each month. This month the theme is college years, a topic we're sure will include a full range of emotions that are relatable for many. Readers this month include Dana Norris, founder of Story Club, J.H. Palmer, co-producer of That's All She Wrote, Brandy Agerbeck of Loosetooth.com as well as writer Genny Ramos and poet Erin Watson.

Miss Spoken: College Years is hosted by Rosamund Lannin and Carly Oishi at The Gallery Cabaret (2020 N. Oakley). The show starts at 7 p.m. and is free.
