Chicagoist Weekend Theatre: 'The Night Stalker'

Maybe it was something about the mentioning of horror movies and unsolved oddities earlier that made a weekend theatre for The Night Stalker sound like a good idea. The Night Stalker was a hit 70s TV movie spun into a supernatural series called "Kolchak: The Night Stalker," set in Chicago. The show, starring Darren McGavin, focused on Kolchak investigating tales of the odd and the macabre. [Very much a proto-"X Files" deal.] The Night Stalker movie is set in Vegas, and concerns a titular vampire. Very much Halloween fare. Enjoy.
