Tuesday Afternoon Diversion: 8-Bit Hunger Strike

If you were 15 years old or so circa 1992, you'll remember the supergroup Temple of the Dog. Made up of members of Soundgarden, Mother Love Bone and what would become Pearl Jam, the group released a single, critically acclaimed album in memory of Andrew Wood, the lead singer of Mother Love Bone, who died of an overdose of heroin.

Here's their hit single "Hunger Strike" re-imagined as an eight-bit video game interlude.
