Exclusive Video Premiere: Crow Moses 'Water Mains'

We’ve been digging on Crow Moses for a few years now, since back when the local folk artist called himself “Musikanto.” We can’t defend his choice in cheesy musical monikers, but the singer / songwriter has an undeniable knack for warm melodies flavored with acoustic jangle, rich piano and soulful alt-country crooning.

This time last month, Crow Moses released his first record under his new name, and to spread word of Horse Heaven Hills, he’s hitting the road for some Midwest and Southeastern U.S. touring. He starts off the excursion in Ohio but returns for a hometown show on Nov. 8 at Martyrs, bringing along his tourmate, the ridiculously talented pianist Marco Benevento.

In advance of the trek, Crow Moses shared with us an official video for the track "Water Mains," in which a girl lives our long-time dream of being abducted by a man in a suit wearing a horse head mask. Check it out below and keep scrolling for a peek at the tour schedule:
