Today's Weather: No Obstacles

We have a late start to our work day here at Chicagoist's Bridgeport headquarters but I
spy some sunshine from the east peeking through and a mix of pillowy white clouds among a canvas of gray to the west. When these two meet, we'll have a marvelous potpourri of color in the sky. Down at ground level the color show is no less impressive with the winds blowing leaves off the trees. It's going to be chilly today as you decide what light sweater to wear. The official high at O'Hare is supposed to climb into the upper 50s, but if you live inland the temps will be closer to 50 degrees.
As we head into the evening rush, expect more mixed clouds and overnight lows in the mid-40s before the clouds clear and give us a sunshine-y Wednesday.
