Happy Helloween, everyone. Break out the winter coats tonight. We noted in Thursday's weather update there is nothing attractive about seeing gooseflesh on people wearing "sexy" costumes and those of you wearing them tonight should err on the side of practicality. It's going to be cold today.

Outside Chicagoist's Bridgeport headquarters we spy some drizzle and, dare we say it, light snow. Don't panic, it won't stick but a mix of rain and snow is in the forecast for today, along with a high near 40 degrees, which we have officially reached as of post time. It's all downhill from here.

What you need to be aware of heading into the evening is the wind. It's going to be blustery out there this evening with sustained winds between 22 to 36 mph and gusts reaching 50 mph. All the more reason to wear a coat, you "sexy" costume owners; you don't want a gust to tear that cheap thing to shreds.
