Extra Extra: Former U.S. Rep. Lane Evans Dies

- Former Illinois Rep. Lane Evans has died after a long fight with Parkinson's disease. The Democrat died Wednesday at a nursing home in East Moline, Illinois. He was 63. Evans was first elected in 1982 and went on to serve 12 terms. He left office in Jan. 2007 after his health started to deteriorate. [Sun-Times]
