Today's Weather: Against The Wind

I adopted a dog last week which means my morning routine now includes a dog walk around McGuane Park in my neighborhood. Based solely on this morning's walk I recommend you all stay in. In case you need to be reminded, it's doom and gloom blustery out there, folks. The skies are full of thick gray, the winds are whipping from the west and showers are expected throughout the day. As for the temperature, we've slightly exceeded the forecast high of 45 degrees at O'Hare with a reading of 49 degrees. The bright side of this forecast is the precipitation was expected to be a mix of rain and snow; the latter will be held off until possibly late Saturday.
