Did you miss out on Green City Market's Chef BBQ this summer? If you did or you just loved the BBQ, don't miss their autumn fundraiser A (Mostly) Veggie Affair: Cheat on Meat or Go Whole Beast! on Nov. 13. The event will be held at Chop Shop (2033 W. North Ave.) and feature all-vegetable dishes made with Green City Market produce by chefs like Kim Leali at Nico Osteria and Abe Conlon and Adrienne Lo of Fat Rice.

If you want some meat with those vegetables chefs Scott Manley of Table Donkey and Stick, Jared Batson of The Nomad Food Company and Eric Mansavage of Farmhouse will be preparing three "little" whole pigs cooked over straw, wood, and bricks. Drinks will be provided by Goose Island and Moody Tongue, with cocktails made by five featured bartenders.

Tickets are $55 and available at Brown Paper Tickets.
