Filming in Chicago for Batman v. Superman: Zack Snyder is the poor man’s Joss Whedon is wrapping up in Chicago—with IMAX cameras!! This week, Uptown was transformed into a convincing Gotham City circa 1974. The Aragon Ballroom and the Lawrence Avenue Red Line “L” station is the setting where, after watching The Mark of Zorro, Thomas and Martha Wayne meet their fate and Bruce Wayne embraces his future destiny.
Batman v. Superman: Seriously, why is Zack Snyder directing another film? is scheduled for a 2016 release and is expected to set the table for a future Justice League film franchise.
