The Food Film Festival returns to Chicago to bring food films to the big screen at Kendall College (900 N. North Branch St.) and pair them with actual food and drink. The festival runs Nov. 19-22.
On opening night you can enjoy watching <Edzo Dreams of Cheeseburgers, which features the beloved Evanston burger joint, and The Great Chicken Wing Hunt, a documentary about the search for the world's best Buffalo wing. If you get hungry, the after-party offers up cheeseburgers and milkshakes from Edzo's, pies from Hoosier Mama, and plenty of Buffalo wings.
Thursday's schedule offers a selection of short films paired with a meal while Friday features aquaculture and fish related films alongside sea urchin cooked by Chef Foss of El Ideas and all you can eat oysters. Saturday celebrates beer with films about beer, sausage, and of course, beer to drink. Then later there is a "Food Porn Party" with several short films, BBQ, pie and doughnut bread pudding.
