Today's Weather: Here And Now

Thanks to lighter winds, this morning's dog walk was leagues better than the previous two days. Today's forecast sets the stage for that weekend warming trend both WGN's Weather Center and Accuweather have been promising. Highs near 30 degrees are expected along with a chance for some snow.
After today things regress a bit with the return of some gusty winds but by the time Friday arrives the worst will be over for the time being, even if there is a chance of a rain/snow mix. We could see 50-degree readings by Sunday. That is Indian Summer, y'all!
