“David Bowie Is,” the retrospective of The Thin White Duke’s career currently drawing packed crowds to the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, is beginning to enter its final weeks. MCA officials, in an attempt to meet the continued demand for tickets to “Bowie Is,” have announced the museum will extend its Saturday hours until 10 p.m. through the remaining dates of the exhibit.
I finally had an opportunity to see “David Bowie Is” last Friday and was happy I did, as the exhibit is thorough and long; you’ll need at least 90 minutes to take everything in. So make sure you have a couple hours to spare and buy tickets in advance.
”David Bowie Is” ends its run at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago (220 E. Chicago Ave.) Jan. 4, 2015. Tickets are $25 and available for purchase at the MCA’s box office and online.
