Second Annual Donut Fest Coming To Chop Shop January 25

Right now, foodstuffs are probably the last thing on anyone's mind, seeing as we've spent the past two days gorging ourselves stupid in the name of delicious, delicious tradition. That said, perhaps all of the Thanksgiving savoriness is getting you in the mood for something a little sweeter.

If that's the case, count yourself lucky. After a successful first year, the second annual Donut Fest returns to Chop Shop for another go-round January 25.

"Over a dozen of Chicago's restaurants will submit their best cruller, ring or long-john and compete against each other with only one walking away with the coveted title of 'Best Donut in Chicago,'" the Donut Fest website reads. Vendors include Glazed and Infused, Donut Den, and more yet to be announced. Tickets are not on sale, but you can know as soon as they are by signing up for an email list.
