These two cookie exchanges have plenty of cookies, but that's where the similarities end. At Chicago Market's Cookie Swap Extravaganza you'll bring your own cookies to exchange with other home bakers. At Fairmont's Chocolate and Cheer Cookie exchange you'll just eat some cookies, drink wine and take home three dozen of their fresh-baked cookies, which you can eat yourself or give away to friends and family.

Fairmont Chicago's (200 N. Columbus Dr.) exchange takes place tomorrow, Dec. 4 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $50 a person and you can reserve by called 312-565-6603 or emailing Brittany.robbins@fairmont.com.

Chicago Market's Cookie Swap Extravaganza will be hosted by River Valley Farmers Table (1820 W. Wilson Ave.) on Dec. 14 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets are $10, unless you are a market owner and then you can get them for $7. Read the rules and sign up at the Chicago Market site.

For more cookies, visit one of Chicago's holiday markets.
