Extra Extra: Bloomingdale Trail Bridge Arch Installation To Happen Saturday

  • A major milestone in the Bloomingdale Trail project is happening this weekend. Weather permitting, on Saturday is the planned installation of arches over a bridge that crosses Milwaukee Avenue. A portion of the street will be closed, so plan accordingly. [DNAinfo Chicago]
  • Mayoral challenger Bob Fioretti has called for five debates before early voting for the mayoral election begins, including three televised debates. Fioretti’s plan would include all candidates with at least 5 percent of the vote in public opinion polls. [Sun-Times]
  • IDOT is sticking by their choice of operation in removing graffiti from a key inbound Kennedy Expressway sign earlier this morning. The graffiti removal caused some major traffic delays during rush hour. [Sun-Times]
