Today's Weather: A Mean One

We aren't being grinchy about today's forecast but "mean" is how it felt outside coupled with walking a pitbull who avoids puddles as though she would melt if she walked through one. According to the official temperature reading at O'Hare Airport we're already above our forecast high of the day but it won't feel like the mid- to upper-30s outside thanks to the combination of drizzle and wind.
That rain could turn into a snow shower come afternoon, just in time to mess with your evening commute as this morning's drizzle is stacking up traffic along area expressways.
We're still in store for a warmup heading toward the end of the work week. We just need to get through today.
