We Carol Lot!

By Tankboy in Arts & Entertainment on Dec 19, 2014 8:30PM

2014_12_We_Carol_Lot.jpeg We'd be into the We Carol Lot holiday show no matter what since it makes an excellent nod to Faith No More (who are back by the way, motherfucker!). But Downwrite, a music platform connecting fans with artists to create personalized songs, has thrown a truckload of local and national artists together for a holiday show that is sure to leave the stage at Metro smoking in its wake. Mark Rose (of Spitalfield) and Bob Nanna (of Braid and Hey Mercedes), Downwrite founders, will be performing and they've used their clout to pull together a pretty impressive roster for tomorrow night's show.

Who will be joining Nanna and Rose?

Matt Pryor of The Get Up Kids, William Beckett of The Academy Is, Mike Kinsella of American Football, Tim Kasher of Cursive, Jon Walker of Panic! At The Disco, Bob Morris of The Hush Sound, Daniel Wade of Treaty of Paris and his own badass self, and Daniel Castady of The Fold and Showoff.

We're out of breath just running down that list.

We Carol Lot is tomorrow, Saturday, Dec. 20, at Metro, 3730 N Clark, 8 p.m., $15 advance / $17 door / $40 VIP, 18+
