Morning Box Score: Blackhawks Stung By Blue Jackets In Nine-Round Shootout Loss

Talk about coming down to the wire: the Blackhawks, having defeated the Columbus Blue Jackets the last 13 times the two squads have met, perhaps could have counted on another win. But that was not meant to be. The two teams battled it out over regulation, and, as if that wasn't enough, went into overtime. And if that wasn't enough, the game went into shootout, where the Hawks, after nine rounds, ultimately succumbed to the Blue Jackets sting. The Blackhawks next play the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight.
