Pencil This In: A Sour Xmas At Jerry's Wicker Park

The holiday travel season is in full swing which means there should be seats at the bar at Jerry's Wicker Park tonight for "Bah Humbug: A Sour Xmas" starting 6 p.m. tonight. Sour beers and holiday brews will be on the agenda with the following lineup:

The Bruery's Oude Tart and Tart of Darkness
Jolly Pumpkin/Upland's Persimmon Ship collaborative beer
Great Lakes Christmas Ale
Three Floyds Alpha Klaus
Evil Twin Christmas Eve At A NYC Hotel Room
Port Brewing Santa's Little Helper
Lost Abbey Merry Taj

Holiday themed movies will screen, as well, starting with the family-friendly National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation at 6 p.m., Gremlins at 7:45 p.m.; Saint Nick at 9:30 p.m. and Black X-Mas at 11 p.m. Beer and movies are something we could be doing at home, but it's much better to get out and about.
