Good Morning to those of you who have to go back to work in that limbo between Christmas and New Year's. The weekend wound up being extremely pleasant with plenty of sunshine to enjoy a nice skate around the Maggie Daley Park skating ribbon. (An idea scores of Chicagoans had, based on how packed the rink was all weekend.)

Remember there are other outdoor rinks around town if you want to strap on some blades, and layer up. The high is expected to only reach freezing today but there's a chance of snow later in the day as Chicago's descent into near-Hoth climes by New Year's Eve continues. Expect highs in the teens Tuesday and Wednesday before the sun shines and temps rebound to near 30 degrees for New Year's Day.
