Today's Weather: Snow Country For Old Men

The first weekend of the new year has kicked off with a continuation of yesterday's Winter Weather Advisory for all of Chicago. Last night's snow may have made for a beautiful, scenic weekend morning, but Lord help you if you have to drive in the current conditions, which, as Skilling noted, are "very hazardous."
Whether or not there's a break in the wintery action depends on whose weather word you trust. Skilling says we're due for a warm-up that'll turn the snow into rain, whereas Accuweather Meteorologist Maggie Samuhel says we've got snow showers on the way that will continue into Sunday. Today's high is 36, though, so at least that will be nice before the coming week's cold weather. Huzzah.
