Hotel Lincoln Offering Discount On Reservations Based On Wind Speed

Looking for a vacation without having to leave the city or break the bank? The Hotel Lincoln has an offer running through Feb. 25 where they'll offer a discount on a reservation based on the wind speed at 10 a.m. every Wednesday throughout the promotion. Now that's a great way to use The Hawk in your favor.

The Hotel Lincoln will post the wind speed every Wednesday on their Facebook page and Twitter feed. The discount during the "Windy City Wednesdays" promotion applies to the best available room price at the Lincoln Park-based boutique hotel and can be used for a stay at the Hotel Lincoln through March 31, blackout dates excepted. The area is under a wind chill advisory through noon Thursday and the official wind speed at 10 a.m. was 23 mph, so guests who make a reservation today will receive that as a discount for their room price.
