We're going out on a limb and theorize this run of single digit temps would have been mitigated somewhat if the wind weren't blowing so damn often. The wind chill advisory that has accompanied the forecasts most of the week may (hopefully) be coming to an end in a few short hours. We'll also expect plenty of sunlight to go with highs in the upper teens.
The cool side of this weather pillow is the overnight lows are supposed to stay in the upper teens, a sign that the Hoth snap is over and relatively warmer temps arrive Sunday. This is great; our office manager has been succumbing to cabin fever.
