Today's Weather: Pop Goes The Weasel

With the single-digit temps last week, my dog has become well-acquainted with my backyard so when the temps climbed into the teens yesterday she took full advantage of it and ran around McGuane Park so fast she promptly launched a wind chill advisory. Today's weather will be even better for pets and their human companions as the mercury reading is already near Skilling's forecast high, coupled with clouds. But the weathermen and women say more snow is on the way,which is one reason the overnight lows won't dip much lower than our current readings.
The rest of the week has us in store for a post-snow chill Tuesday and Wednesday before the mercury rebounds by week's end. Let your dogs loose today; they've been waiting or it.
