Music Video Of The Day: Split Single 'Fragmented World'

By Tankboy in Arts & Entertainment on Jan 13, 2015 11:10PM

Split Single, the project fronted by Jason Narducy, a.k.a. "the sexiest elbows in rock," just released a video for the title track of their debut album. Taking its cues from a cinematic thriller from the '70s—it rhymes with Arathon Dan—creating a nicely nightmarish background for a song that literally drips sunshine from its chord progressions.

Narducy was just in town last weekend playing in the backing band for Michael Shannon's Lou Reed cover set during the Bowie Birthday Bash, but he takes center stage in a few weeks when he brings Split Single to Space on Feb. 6.

Since you apparently can't watch music videos on television anymore, we'll showcase one here daily. There's no rhyme or reason, time or season, to which video we'll choose. Have a suggestion? Contact us at tips@chicagoist.com.
