We mentioned Guts and Glory (and attending storytelling events, in general) in our best indoor activities post a few moments ago. Here's another live lit event that will warm your cockles.

Chicago Writers Conference presents "Tales from the Office," and evening of funny and frightening stories from work. Featured readers are Ines Bellina, Christie Tate, Laura Knapp, Nathalie Lagerfeld and Chicago Writers Conference founder Mare Swallow. The reading takes place 6:30 p.m. at Open Books and is free.
