Washington 105, Bulls 99
Mike Dunleavy has missed seven games with an injury, Joakim Noah has not played to the level he set last season, the defense is not playing at a level expected ofa Tom Thibodeau-coached team and Pau Gasol and Jimmy Butler are mired in offensive slumps. Put all that together and you have a Bulls team that has now lost four of their last five games and seen their record at the United Center fall to 12-9 Wednesday night.
Derrick Rose came to play and led all scorers with 32 points and was aggressive throughout as he scored 17 in the opening 12 minutes. Rose also had five assists. But Washington's big guns were locked and loaded as the Wizards outscored Chicago 32-19 in the third period and went on a 10-2 run with 5:45 remaining to pull away. Paul Pierce led the Wizards with 22 points, John Wall scored 21 and Bradley Beal added 17 for the Wizards.
