Today's Weather: Viento Del Sur

It's 20 degrees as I file this post, which is a good start to that is going to be a welcome thaw for at least a week. Brisk southwest winds will bring the warmth to Chicago by the afternoon and the mercury will climb to near the freezing mark.
That's only the beginning as we could see temps in the 40s by Saturday which will melt much of this snow in time for another round of flurries come Monday. But the days are getting longer and the winter is going by fast. That's a good thing.
