Bulls 119, Boston 103
The Bulls recent slump has been due to a combination of factors but Derrick Rose stepped up his game Friday night at TD Garden. Rose scored 29 points on 12 for 20 shooting from the field; he was five-of-eight from three-point land. Rose also dished out 10 assists. Pau Gasol and Jimmy Butler bounced back from their recent shooting woes. Butler scored 22 points on 10-for-19 shooting while Gasol was 9-of-16 from the field for 20 points. Gasol also grabbed 11 rebounds subbing at center in place of the injured Joakim Noah. Chicago shot 53.9 percent from the field and 52 percent from downtown while the Celtics shot 49.4 percent from the field to stay in the game.

The Bulls host the red hot and deep Atlanta Hawks at the United Center tonight.

Winnipeg 4, Blackhawks 2
The Jets have the Blackhawks number this season and made the United Center home Friday night. Winnipeg won their third straight game against Chicago as Zach Bogosian scored a goal and assisted on Bryan Little's third period power play goal. Former Hawk Andrew Ladd scored a late empty netter and Chris Thorburn had a goal for the Jets, who peppered Corey Crawford with 34 shots. Brad Richards and highly touted prospect Teuvo Teravainen scored for the Blackhawks.

The Hawks have Saturday off before hosting Dallas Sunday at the United Center.
