Last-Minute Plans: CHIRP Radio 5th Anniversary Dinner At Lula Café

2011_5_10_CHIRP.jpg CHIRP Radio celebrates five years of live and local music and cultural programming with an anniversary dinner at Lula Café (2537 N. Kedzie Ave.) 7 p.m. tonight. The Chicago Music Dinner kicks off at 6 p.m. with a cocktail hour followed by a three-course meal by Chef Jason Hammel with beer pairings by Half Acre Beer Co.

Guests will receive a CHIRP-curated limited edition local music mix and enjoy the sounds of CHIRP DJs spinning a soundtrack of Chicago artists. Attendees will also have the chance to bid on framed concert posters by local artists.

"Daisy Cutter" 1st course: Charred Leeks Vinaigrette
‘ossau iraty’ sheep’s milk cheese, meyer lemon, anchovy

"Pony Pils" 2nd course: Rushing Waters Rainbow Trout

Online reservations have ended, but Lula Cafe said seats were still available as of post time.
