Extra Extra: Man Injured After Jumping From 2nd Floor At Art Institute

  • A man was injured earlier this afternoon after jumping from the 2nd floor in the Modern Wing at the Art Institute. Police suspect the incident may have been a suicide attempt. [Tribune]
  • A Will County man was charged with impersonating a deputy marshal at a downtown Chicago movie theater. The complaint against the man alleges that he has been involved in multiple incidents for impersonating various federal agents. [Sun-Times]
  • Gov. Bruce Rauner was involved in a car crash this morning in the Loop when two vehicles collided, causing one to spin out of control and strike the vehicle Rauner was riding in. Rauner and his security detail were not injured in the accident. [Tribune]
  • A Chicago DJ, with a previous DUI conviction, multiple speeding violations and driving on a revoked license, is being held on $1 million bail after causing a crash on Monday near Lincoln Park Zoo that killed the passenger in his vehicle. [Sun-Times]
  • One of the men accused of flooding the Trump Tower's elevator shafts and lobby last February plead guilty to criminal damage to property today. [DNAinfo Chicago]
