Ramen-san's (59 W. Hubbard St.) latest in their Omakase Dinner Series on Wednesday Jan. 28 is focused on roast duck and Japanese Whiskey. Whiskey from Japan is earning a deserved following in the U.S., especially after Japanese whiskeys bested Scotland's in a recent competition. Duck already has a strong following everywhere because it's damn delicious.

The five course dinner is $45 and you can choose from two optional types of whiskey pairings: level 1 for $40 offers 12-year whiskeys and level 2 for $80 offers limited editions of 15 and 17 year old whiskeys.

To reserve a spot give them a call at 312-377-9950. Seatings are available from 6 to 9 p.m.
