When Faith No More reunited a few years ago they painfully skipped over Chicago during their run of live dates. When the band announced they were going to be active again in 2015, we held out hope that Chicago would finally see a live set from a reconstituted Mike Patton and the boys (not to be confused with Dirty Mike and the Boys). Upon hearing the first new track from the band, "Motherfucker," we really hoped the crew would grace Chicago with a show, since the band is not only in fine form, but great form on the new material.

Today our prayers are answered with the announcement that Riot Fest is presenting a show from the band on May 7 at Concord Music Hall. AHHHHHHHHHH!

Tickets are on-sale this Friday, Jan. 30, at 10 a.m., but there's a fan club pre-sale starting Wednesday, Jan. 28 so you should stalk their Facebook or Twitter page tomorrow for the password that will get you early access to those tickets!

Get ready, motherfucker, Faith No More is finally coming to town.
