One team showed effort and played strong defense Sunday at the United Center. Unfortunately, it wasn't the home team as the Bulls fell to 13-11 at the UC this season. The star of the game was Miami's Hassan Whiteside, who earned a triple double with 14 points, 13 rebounds and 12 blocked shots. That's right. Twelve blocked shots.

Dwyane Wade turned back the clock and led all scorers with 26 points.Chris Bosh scored 20 and Luol Deng and Mario Chalmers scored 15 apiece. The Heat took a 26-20 first quarter lead and never looked back.

Derrick Rose led the Bulls with 19 points, Aaron Brooks scored 17 points and Pau Gasol had another double doube (13 points, 17 rebounds) as Chicago only shot 35.6 percent from the field.
