Pencil This In: Barley's Angels Belgian Beer Tasting At Bar On Buena

By Chuck Sudo in Food on Jan 27, 2015 6:30PM

2015_1_27_barleysangels.jpeg Barley's Angels, the craft beer club whose mission is to bring women out of the lite and fruity beer shadows and into the technicolor world their male counterparts enjoy with impunity, is hosting a tasting of Belgian Beers at Bar on Buena 6-8 p.m. tonight. Joining the Angels is Christina Canto of Penrose Brewing, the Geneva brewery that specializes in Belgian-style ales. Canto will explain what makes Belgian-style beers so unique and why they're gateway brews to a the larger world of beer.

The $20 cost for the event. (and RSVP at Brown Paper Tickets) also includes snacks because everyone needs a good base of food to absorb that beer. (910 W. Buena Ave.)
