Reminder: Today Is The Last Day To Register To Vote For Feb. 24 Election

We are less than a month away from the Feb. 24 election and have remarked before that low voter turnouts in municipal elections tend to favor the incumbent. So if you're in the "anyone but Rahm" camp (and based on the latest poll numbers, that's a lot of you) sitting at home next month because you're not excited about Bob Fioretti, Chuy Garcia, Willie Wilson or Dock Walls only benefits the mayor.

This is why we want to remind you that today is the last day to register to vote or update your registration address in time for the election. It's easy to do; the Chicago Board of Elections lists your registration options on their website. You could even register to vote as you're reading Chicagoist, which would be doubly cool.
