Chicago Teachers Union president Karen Lewis has kept a low profile since she was diagnosed with a brain tumor in October. Lewis sat down for an interview with the Sun-Times that covered a wide range of subjects including her current health status, what the tumor taught her about the larger scope of life and if she really wanted to challenge Rahm Emanuel for mayor.
