Ina Pinkney may be retired, but fans of Chicago’s “Breakfast Queen” can soon get another helping of her work, albeit via film. Daisy May Films has released the trailer for an upcoming documentary that follows the iconic restauranteur in the final days of service at her beloved breakfast nook, Ina’s.

After a 33-year career of feeding Chicagoans, Pinkney decided to close Ina’s at the end of 2013 due to health issues. Shot from November 2013 to January 2014, Breakfast at Ina’s documents the last meals at Ina’s and reflects on the life and career of the chef, author, television personality, and businesswoman.

The trailer depicts Pinkney cheerfully greeting guests while eager customers line up and breakfast goers indulge in her signature dishes. The feel-good look at Pinkney's career appears to be sweet and substantial, just as a good breakfast should be.

Pinkney reflects in the documentary: “It wasn’t about the first day of opening the restaurant, which everyone thinks is the most important day, but it’s the last day…Did you feed people honestly and with care? Did you take care of your employees? Did you leave a mark in a way that matters?”

Breakfast at Ina’s is currently in post-production with an expected release in early 2015. Watch the trailer below.
