Thank God, Chicago Fire And Chicago P.D. Renewed For Another Season

To the surprise of no one, two of the top rated shows on NBC have been renewed for another season. This means we have a whole 'nother year to run into the stars of Chicago Fire* and Chicago P.D. all over town! The Dick Wolf empire has worked its way into our hearts, we have to admit it, and we actually get kind of excited whenever street closures happen in Bucktown and Logan Square since we know fictional disaster is impending and we may get a chance to see Lady GaGa's boyfriend, that dude from House, or or the incredibly fit individual with the "glorious mangina" [slightly NSFW].

But that's not all! There's also news that Wolf is plopping another new series in Chicago! Variety reports that "A medical “Chicago” spinoff is set to debut during the current season of “Fire,” airing as episode 19." That's only six episodes away. Can you feel the excitement!

If you're looking for us, we'll be at Molly's raising a glass and celebrating the renewals.

*For the record, Chicago Fire, we forgive you for bumping our media league bowling night a few weeks ago so you could film at Fireside Bowl. We hope you included Hammer in at least one shot!
