The sun is shining and the temperature is slowly rising at the Logan Square outpost of the Chicagoist offices. Enjoy this break of nice weather while you can, because it won't stick around long.

Today we'll see partly sunny skies and a high in the mid to upper 30s. Some mild air will bring fog to some areas this AM. It will still be chilly with temperatures below freezing during the morning before warming up this afternoon. Which means some of our piles of snow will melt, turning into the classic Chicago slushie mix. Tonight we'll see clouds move in and a light drizzle across the area.

Tomorrow isn't looking so hot. Rain will continue throughout the day so expect more snow to melt into grey slush, which if it freezes back could make for an interesting commute for anyone walking the sidewalks of Chicago. At least we'll get a break from the cold until Thursday, when temperatures are expected to plummet again.
