2015_2_3OneBook.jpg One Book, One Chicago has been offering up some unique programing to go along with their current selection, Michael Chabon's The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay. Earlier this month they debuted their virtual book club, where readers can chat online through social media to discuss the book. Tonight is another unique and interactive event for readers to enjoy while exploring some of the ideas and themes that rise up in Chabon's novel.

Acting The Anti-Hero will be an evening of discussion in partnership with Revolution Brewing with host Mark Bazer, Chicago Tribune's Christopher Borrelli, film critic Sarah Knight Adamson and Third Coast Comics owner Terry Gant. They group will discuss our cultural obsession with the Anti-Hero, all while sipping some samples of Revolution's Anti-Hero IPA. We've also heard they'll be pizza to enjoy as well. Free beer, pizza and cultural dissection sounds like the perfect reason to coax us out into the cold tonight. To get a preview on the subject at hand, check out Gant's post over on ChicagoNow.

Acting The Anti-Hero, presented by One Book, One Chicago and Revolution Brewing, is tonight from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Revolution Brewing taproom (3340 N. Kedzie Ave.). The event is free but you must be 21+ to attend.
