Do This: A Coffee Pairing Dinner At Vera To Benefit Families In Need

Vera (1023 W. Lake St.) has only been offfering coffee service for a few months, but they've already gathered a cult following for it, as well as the pastries and tea you can also get there during the day. Thursday March 5 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. they'll serve a special dinner in partnership with local Passion House Coffee. The $125 dinner benefits Cooking Matters Illinois, an organization devoted to empowering families at risk for hunger with the skills and knowledge needed to create affordable healthy meals.
