Today's Weather: Frigid Friday

By Lisa White in News on Feb 27, 2015 2:20PM

TGIFF, am I right? No, that wasn't a typo, the extra F stands for frigid, which is the best way to describe today if you are planning on heading outside. It is currently 1 degree with a wind chill of -13. Don't let that beautiful sunshine fool you, it is so damn cold.

We're under a wind chill advisory until 9 a.m. this morning thanks to sub-zero readings coupled with dangerous wind chills, making for a beyond brisk commute. The high today will only reach the mid-teens so bundle up, suck it up and just trudge through Friday the best we can. If you need a little motivation, look at the weekend forecast. Tomorrow will still be pretty cold but Sunday we'll reach a high of 30 (although a bit more snow) and we might actually reach up to 40 degrees next week and see rain instead of snow! Time to break out the shorts.
