Spring Awakening Announces Jack Ü As Surprise Headliner

The elusive Jack Ü collaboration between Diplo and Skrillex will be making its first ever stop in Chicago this summer along with their Midwest debut. React Presents announced today that the final “surprise” headliner for its annual Spring Awakening electronic music festival at Soldier Field will come in the form of Skrillex. The emo kid turned international ambassador of bass joins Diplo on the decks for a headlining slot on Saturday night.

Jack Ü followed the very trendy “surprise album release” method by dropping their debut record online at midnight last Friday. Little did anyone know the duo had been cooking up tracks with everyone from Missy Elliott to Justin Bieber. Check out the the fruits of their labor below.
