Indiana 98, Bulls 84
The Bulls hoped to continue the momentum of a two-game winning streak on Friday night, but the surging Pacers had other plans and pulled off a victory after a balls-out fourth quarter. Indiana's grind-it-out style proved to be too much for Chicago whose slow start produced only one lead of the night by just two points in the second quarter. Pau Gasol notched another double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds and Small Forward Doug McDermott was a bench surprise scoring 16 points. Indiana was led by Solomon Hill with 16 points and Ian Mahinmi's 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Blackhawks 2, Edmonton 1
Corey Crawford was masterful between the pipes at the United Center Friday night. The goalie stopped 46 shots while newest Blackhawk Antoine Vermette came up big in his second game with the team. Vermette's goal in the shootout round secured a second winning point for Chicago after Brent Seabrook forced overtime with a third period goal.
