Today's Weather: A Little Half-and-Half

By Selena Fragassi in News on Mar 14, 2015 3:00PM

Sun and clouds will duke it out today with no real victor. The half-and-half sky will be coupled with mildly breezy winds out of the north/northwest at 8 to 18 mph giving us somewhat cooler temps than yesterday but still above average for this time of year. Look for a high around 58 degrees before getting down low to 35 degrees by tonight.

Lake County is also under a flood advisory until noon tomorrow due to all the mass snow melting, particularly effecting the areas around the Des Plaines River. By Monday all that white stuff should be a distant memory as we hit our first 70-degree day.
