Photos: Annual Dyeing Of The Chicago River, St. Patrick's Day Downtown Parade

Yesterday downtown Chicago was flooded with green as far as the eye could see. The annual dyeing of the Chicago river brought out large crowds to witness the waterway go green. It's a tradition that we've explored before and is a popular way to celebrate each March. Crowds also enjoyed the downtown Chicago St. Patrick's Day parade, with sunny and mild weather making it the perfect way to enjoy some luck of the Irish this year. Today we share a collection of photos from our Flick Pool contributors as well as Chicagoist staffer Jessica Mlinaric who headed downtown to join in on the fun.
