Today's Weather: No Rain For Your Parades

It will be a perfectly sunny Sunday with ideal conditions for both the South Side and Northwest Side St. Patrick's Day parades. Temperatures will pick up from yesterday with highs climbing to 63 degrees at their peak before getting down to a moderate 41 degrees later, still tolerable if you find yourself walking along the Green River tonight.

This afternoon, winds will gradually pick up out of the southwest at 8 to 18 miles per hour, and a weak lake breeze may develop—but overall we got the luck of the Irish with today's weather.
