He’s coming to town in May for the James Beard festivities and will be cooking at a pop-up at Publican Quality Meats. Zagat and Eater report they’ll be further details in the future and tickets are being released on March 25, so keep a close eye on PQM's social media because they’ll likely go quickly.

Floriole Cafe & Bakery’s weekly pizza dinners helmed by chef Rachel Post also have a devoted following. Her pizzas are known for their delectably crispy crusts and farm-fresh toppings. Soon you’ll be able to acquire her pizza more regularly as she’s opening a pizza restaurant dubbed Our House. Dining Chicago reports she doesn’t have a location yet but she’s looking at Avondale, West Ukrainian Village and Humboldt Park.

Ramen Takeya, a new ramen spot from the owners of Wasabi, will open in Fulton Market next week. DNAinfo reports they’ll be focusing on chicken-based ramen such as the classic chicken paitan, a chicken-based broth and thin noodles topped with roast chicken or pork and a marinated soft boiled egg.
